First visit . . .

Once you have booked your first lesson
(see  Bookings/Cancellation ) , and have a time and date, the first thing you can do is complete our Client Detail Form.

This gives us all the medical, contact details and riding history we need to ensure your lessons is suitable. You need to make sure you have suitable footwear which is any shoe or boot with a slight heel, trainers and flat soles are not permitted and your lesson may be cancelled if this can not be resolved.

We can normally provide the safety helmets for your first few lessons, but we recommend you purchase your own from our Tack Shop. With clothing make sure your arms and legs are covered, however anything with seams especially jeans, can rub uncomfortably. You will also get a 10& discount at our Tack Shop once you have ridden with us!

When you arrive for your lesson please come to the Riding School office. We will take your client detail form and fit your hat. Once you and your horse are ready you will be assisted whilst getting on and have all safety and comfort checks done. This is part of your lesson as safety is the most important thing when riding. You will then meet your instructor and get started. Once your lesson is over you can rebook.  See lesson content and other relevant information including riding levels.
